Woven Star Ornaments and Large Star with Lindsey Campbell (+ her son!)
December 12 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST$29
In this workshop, we will begin with paper to make small star ornaments by cutting strips, weaving and gluing them together. Then we will move on to a larger star, made from flat reeds, using the skills you practiced on from the ornaments. These Scandinavian stars are the perfect way to decorate for the holidays. This project is easy and fun to do for any skill level. Kids or teens can join in too, make their own ornaments, or even help with the larger star. My son will be joining to help me!
The materials for this workshop can vary widely. The reed be any thickness you want/can find. If you can’t get materials in time, just bring a few sheets of cardstock to use and learn the pattern!
Supplies You Will Need
- Flat reed in any size. The workshop photo uses 1″. (Not round reed or oval reed). Here are some options:
- 50 clothespins or clamps
- Wood glue
