Leather Working with Miranda Anderson

Miranda Anderson the maker, seamstress, foodie, explorer, and the blogger behind One Little Minute. She regularly shares tips and tutorials for motherhood and making, with an occasional recipe to keep things exciting.

Along with sharing online, Miranda teaches regular local craft and sewing workshops in Austin, Texas where she finds herself continually inspired by the creative culture, and the beautiful desert landscapes. Her sweet husband and three wild kiddos fill up her life with joy, and continue to teach her about setting goals, making priorities, and believing that small moments and successes mean just as much as the big ones.

Miranda’s love for with leather working may have started when she worked as a wilderness counselor and spent a summer fashioning sandals, backpack straps, and messenger bags from hide in between starting bow-drill fires to heat foraged plants into stew. Her skills improved as she took it from the meadow to the studio and has tackled projects from small zipper pouches up to an independently designed and drafted leather jacket that is still one of her favorite sewing projects to date. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share these skills with our community, and hopes you all love the clutch as she does!
