This workshop offers the tools, materials and guidance to begin practicing brush lettering or to hone your existing scripting skills. Artist Shinah Chang carefully covers letters, numbers and embellishments through a 50 minute overview of brush pen lettering. The final project is gorgeous custom stationery that’s perfect for hosting a special gathering (think invitations, place cards, menus…), addressing holiday cards, or to take in your very own direction (perhaps framed scripted art for the living room or nursery, or even holiday gift tags for family).
Shinah is the professional artist behind Crooked Calligraphy. In addition to brush pen lettering, Shinah shares with us her tips for applying gold foil leafing to offer optional embellishments to each custom piece.
