The Crafter’s Box Waterproof Crafting Pouch
For the travel painter, the summer sketcher, the artist on the go.
Our canvas carryall art bag was so incredibly popular that we designed a sketch bag out of the same material but this time with a waterproof interior to hold all of your sketching & painting supplies. This bag is made of a durable, heavy-duty waxed canvas and is ready for travel. It comfortably fits several sketchbooks, as many pens as you might need plus your Winsor & Newton Cotman travel watercolor set for sketching on the go. The waterproof interior means that it’s safe to carry your water pen and watercolors.
Our Waterproof Wristlet Travel Pouch:
- A custom canvas + leather travel bag, 11″ wide, 8.5″ tall
- Zippered closure
- Brass details
To accompany this bag, explore our additional line of custom crafting tool storage: an oversized crafting toolbox to organize and store your favorites, a canvas tool pouch keeps sharp scissors and jewelry pliers safe, and a brush roll conveniently captures paint brushes, graphite pencils, brush lettering pens and more in an organized fashion.
The story behind your bag and our co-op community partnership:
TO THE MARKET is an organization that pairs artisan co-ops from around the world with businesses like ours to support their Empowerment through Employment mission: “We believe the dignity of work cannot only transform a person’s economic trajectory and that of her children, but also her self-esteem”. Social impact through community partnerships and co-op growth can make a big difference in the homes of so many. As a #slowcrafting maker community, we can continue to support artisans of all kinds full circle all the while bringing life and spirit to the raw materials we work with through collaborations just like this one.
Each bag created for this project was ethically made in India by vulnerable women. Each woman is proudly paid a fair living wage and is given the opportunity for upward mobility and childcare. She’s also provided access to healthcare. Thanks to partners, TO THE MARKET is able to continue to employ vulnerable communities around the world.
