Welcome to our Video Only: Watercolor & Gouache Workshop led by artist Sarah Simon. In this workshop, Sarah introduces us to color blending theory, color gradient ‘washes’ – and using a live bouquet for inspiration – a detailed study of building watercolor florals from the ground up. Once we’ve each completed our bouquet – or floral fascination – together, Sarah introduces us to Florence, her favorite flower girl. We’ll finish our piece by customizing our own illustrated muse.

Sarah is a warm and inviting instructor who creates a comfortable and welcoming environment throughout her workshop. She invites our audience to engage in her artistic world with peaceful blues, serene greens, and small pops of complementary accents in blush and coral. Using her relatable and effective teaching analogies, Sarah invites her audience into a world of inspiration. We are so excited to have you join us with this project as we dive into creating lush watercolor paintings.
