The Crafter’s Box Pen Case & Tool Pouch
We’ve launched our custom Crafting Toolbox Collection and have added a pen case & tool pouch that continues our minimal, clean aesthetic of crafting storage with Alli’s wonderful illustration workshop in mind!
Carry your complete set of Alli’s preferred writing tools in our lined, black canvas pouch complete with a utilitarian zipper and brass details. The raw leather tag on the front and zipper pull allow you to customize your kit with a name or title using our leather stamping tools.
This bag is made of a durable, heavy-duty waxed canvas and is ready for travel. It comfortably fits several sketchbooks plus as many pens as you might need. The canvas is thick enough to hold even your hardiest of tools (think a carving tool from our Linocut Workshop) and is big enough to be your crafting pouch go-to.
This materials kit includes:
- a canvas + leather travel bag: 11″ wide, 8″tall and 2″ in wide in size
- note that it differs from our waterproof pouch in that it has a cotton ecru fabric lining.

The story behind your bag and our co-op community partnership:
TO THE MARKET is an organization that pairs artisan co-ops from around the world with businesses like ours to support their Empowerment through Employment mission: “We believe the dignity of work cannot only transform a person’s economic trajectory and that of her children, but also her self-esteem”. Social impact through community partnerships and co-op growth can make a big difference in the homes of so many. As a #slowcrafting maker community, we can continue to support artisans of all kinds full circle all the while bringing life and spirit to the raw materials we work with through collaborations just like this one.
Each bag created for this project was ethically made in India by vulnerable women. Each woman is proudly paid a fair living wage and is given the opportunity for upward mobility and childcare. She’s also provided access to healthcare. Thanks to partners, TO THE MARKET is able to continue to employ vulnerable communities around the world.
